In an article published in The Sunday Gleaner, Bedward Gardens residents said truck drivers dump their waste on the open lot instead of travelling to the established dump in Riverton.

Chief Technical Officer at NSWMA,  Audley Gordon, said the agency has launched a probe into the illegal activity.
