Two dead and two injured in Clarendon shootings, police investigate

The Clarendon police are probing two separate shootings in the parish which left two persons dead and two others injured.

In the first incident, 18-year-old Shawn Sewell was shot and injured on Tuesday night while standing at his gate in Top Hill near Grantham in Frankfield.

Sewell was taken to the Spalding Hospital by the police and later transferred to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

An hour later, gunmen struck in the Inverness community.

It’s reported that the gunmen opened fire on a group of men playing dominoes injuring two of them.

A third man, 22-year-old Jamay Marsh, otherwise called Fire, attempted to flee but was chased and shot dead by the gunmen.
