Chuck wants lengthy sentences for lottery scammers

At the same time, the Justice Minister says he will accommodate and readily sign extradition orders for scammers to be taken the United States and Canada to answer the charges.

According to him the jail time in North America for the crime, which frequently targets the elderly and those with disposable income is punishable between 20 to 30 years.

Lamenting that these criminals have become heroes in their Jamaican communities, Chuck implored the new JPs to fight back with their skills, getting involved in their communities and ensuring lottery scamming is put to bed.
