A 46-year-old woman who is accused of ingesting 30 pellets of ganja is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew parish court tomorrow.

Michelle Rogers was arrested last week at the Norman Manley International airport during a pre-boarding screening by airport officials.

Rogers reportedly gave four different addresses causing officials to alert the police who allegedly discovered that she had ingested the 30 ganja pellets in addition to having point-seven pounds of the illegal drug hidden on her body.

In a similar incident, 33-year-old Renaldo McKenzie of a Portland address was held at the airport last Friday, after attempting to board a flight destined for Barbados.

His luggage was searched and a false compartment containing nine pounds of ganja was allegedly found.

McKenzie will appear in the Kingston and St Andrew parish court on Friday.

Meanwhile, 36-year-old Ryan Grant of a Palmers Cross, Clarendon address will appear in court next Monday to answer to allegations that he attempted to board a flight to Barbados with compressed ganja weighing three pounds six ounces.
