ICAJ to host business conference in Kingston

Major players in the financial and accounting industry will be speakers and participants in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica's (ICAJ) annual business conference to be held on October 7.

Under the theme 'Global Mega Trends: Growth in a Shifting Landscape', the conference is expected to be informative, exciting and insightful.

The keynote speaker will be chairman of the recently created Economic Growth Council, Michael Lee-Chin, with former Prime Minister Bruce Golding; Marianne McIntosh-Robinson, CEO of First Global Bank; David Craig, lead partner, Cyber Security and Piracy Practice, PWc Canada; Dr Ruth Potopsingh, director, sustainable energy at the University of Technology, and Senator Aubyn Hill among those slated to participate.

According to ICAJ President Bruce Scott, "The programme has been designed to attract the interest of key decision makers across the public and private sectors in Jamaica and the Caribbean. We expect to have participants, including business leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, government policymakers, as well as professional accountants and student members.
