In this September 15 file photo, Rev Al Miller (right), accompanied by his wife, Jasmine Miller, makes his way to the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court for sentencing.

Reverend Miller this morning thanked the judge who found him guilty on a corruption charge for not imposing a prison sentence.

Miller was found guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice by Parish Judge Simone Wolfe Reece in July.

The popular pastor faced up to three years in prison, but was fined of $1 million when he was sentenced by Wolfe Reece last Thursday.
