Hundreds of spectators descended on St George's College in Kingston this afternoon to support the team now mourning the death of its captain, Dominic James.

It was the first match for the team since Tuesday when James collapsed at the Stadium East field in Kingston and later died.

Minutes before the 3 p.m match against Greater Portmore High School, the front gates had to be closed as no more spectators could be accommodated through that entrance.

The match ended 4-1 in favour of St Georges.

It was a match the Kingston-based team had said it was dedicating to James.

Before the start of the match the players held a minute of applause.
