Police Commissioner, Dr Carl Williams

Police Commissioner, Dr Carl Williams says every business in Jamaica should be outfitted with closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras.

Williams says an increase in the use of cameras in business places could help the police in solving crimes.

He says the manpower of the JCF is not sufficient to effectively police the entire island and so cameras would be a useful tool in helping the police to monitor crime hot spots.
