Another of the nine prisoners who escaped from the Denham Town Police Lock-up in West Kingston last week has been recaptured by the police.

Twenty-three-year-old Alex Bailey, from Majesty Gardens in Kingston, was recaptured in Whitehouse, Westmoreland, yesterday.

He is charged for Murder and Illegal Possession of a Firearm.

Bailey is the third prisoner to be recaptured since the jailbreak.

Three of the fugitives at large are on murder charges while the other three face charges including shooting and wounding with intent as well as illegal possession of a firearm and robbery charges.

Reports are that the prisoners were discovered missing from the Denham Town lock-up during a routine morning cell check.

They reportedly escaped by cutting through a ventilation grille.
