Escapee suspect in triple murder
Police in St Mary have revealed that a suspect wanted for questioning in relation to the triple murder committed recently in Annotto Bay is the same dangerous gunman who last month escaped custody after allegedly carving through the bars of his jail cell.
On August 11, Charles Hamilton, who had previously been convicted of shooting with intent and was awaiting sentencing, absconded from the lock up at the Islington Police Station in St Mary.
At a press conference on Tuesday, Commanding Officer for the parish Deputy Superintendent Dwight Powell confirmed that Hamilton, 28, had, so far, avoided capture and was now wanted in connection with the brutal September 8 slaying of Albert Pryce, Rochelle Williams, and her nine-month-old daughter, Alear Sewell, in the Fort George community of Annotto Bay.
He said: "We are looking for Charles Hamilton, otherwise called 'Tuggy Tuggy', and anybody who knows of his whereabouts can contact us at any police station. As it relates to the triple murder, we are still appealing to the residents of Annotto Bay, or wherever in St Mary, who may have information that can help us to bring a speedy resolution to that investigation."
Powell went on to release the photographs of two additional persons of interest: Romario Frasier, also known as Weng, who is wanted for the murder of 20-year-old Lamar Stewart in Oracabessa.
Similarly, the police would like to speak with Davar Cammock in connection with the killing of information technology teacher Orville Francis, 44, in February after having his throat slashed at his home in Oracabessa.
