Tropical Storm Nicole threatens Bermuda

These graphics show probabilities of sustained (1-minute average) surface wind speeds equal to or exceeding 50 kt (58 mph).

At 4 o'clock this morning the centre of Tropical Storm Nicole was located 555 kilometres south of Bermuda.

Nicole is drifting southward, and a slightly faster southward motion is expected tonight and tomorrow.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 155 kilometers per hour with higher gusts.

Additional weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours.
