Late journalist Ingrid Brown was today remembered as an extraordinary person.

The tribute came during a thanksgiving service held at Fellowship Tabernacle church, in St Andrew.

Brown, who was Associate Editor at the Jamaica Observer newspaper, died on September 22 after a short illness.

Executive Editor at the Jamaica Observer Vernon Davidson said Brown was not satisfied with informing, educating and entertaining others.

He says Brown was driven by her compassion for the poor and disadvantaged.
