Sproul-Thomas becomes fourth-ever female Assistant Commissioner in JCF history

Sproul-Thomas ... the commanding officer for the Andrew Central Police Division.

Millicent Sproul-Thomas has become the fourth female in the history the Jamaica Constabulary Force to be promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Novelette Grant, retired DCP Winnifred Hall Wary and retired DCP Jevene Bent are the three other women to have attained that rank.

Sproul-Thomas, who is the commanding officer for the Andrew Central Police Division was today named among five Senior Superintendents of Police who have been appointed ACP.

The other appointees are:

1. Richard Stewart - Staff Officer for the Jamaica Constabulary Force

2. Ronald Anderson - Protective Services Division

3. Clifford Chambers - Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Branch

4. Fitz Bailey - head of the Clarendon Division
