Jurors in the so-called X6 murder trial today viewed photographs taken by a crime scene investigator on the night the teen was shot and killed.

The images, which were displayed on a large projector screen, included pictures of a red Toyota motor car with a bullet hole in the licence plate at the back and scratch marks on one side.

Businessman Patrick Powell is on trial for murder and shooting with intent arising from the death of 17-year-old Kingston College student Khajeel Mais in Havendale, St Andrew in 2011.

Prosecutors say Mais was travelling in a taxi that collided with a BMW X6 luxury vehicle.

It’s alleged that the driver of the X6 came out and fired several bullets into the taxi before fleeing the scene.
