The police are reporting that they have now found the black Honda CR-V of slain medical doctor Martin Garwood.

Head of the Constabulary Communications Unit Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay says the car was found in the Queen Hill area of St Andrew this afternoon, a day after Garwood's body was found at his Barbican home in St Andrew.

The body had multiple stab wounds.

Lindsay says investigators are hoping to get further clues once the begin to analyse the vehicle.

Garwood, who worked at the Kingston Public Hospital was also the medical doctor for Jamaica's Young Reggae Boyz.

Meanwhile, Lindsay says investigators have reported that it appears Garwood's killer was injured during a struggle with the doctor.

According to Lindsay, medical practitioners should be very vigilant in treating people with injuries and report any suspicion to the police.
