The police are still processing the three men who have been held in connection with the killing of Dr Martin Garwood whose body was found at his home last week.

The police say following investigations they intercepted a vehicle with the three men aboard and subsequently arrested them.

Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.

Forty-year-old Garwood was murdered at his home in Barbican, St Andrew last Wednesday.

He was attached to the Kingston Public Hospital and was also the doctor of the Young Reggae Boyz team.

His colleagues reportedly went in search of him when he didn't turn up for work on Wednesday and calls to his cell phone went unanswered.

When they arrived at his residence, they observed blood and alerted the police who later found his body with multiple stab wounds.
