The Police are reminding candidates, their supporters and other members of the public that all provisions of the law remain in force, and will be strictly upheld on Nomination Day, tomorrow.

They are urging candidates to obey all regulations regarding nomination centres, and to appeal to their supporters to do likewise.

Motorists are being reminded that it is an offence to allow passengers to hang from the doors of motor buses, sit on top of motor vehicles, or have any part of the body protruding from vehicles.

They are also being reminded to obey the speed limit, and desist from dangerous and careless driving on the roads.

In addition, Jamaicans are being urged to avoid situations that are likely to lead to conflict.
