Policeman shot dead in Negril, third to be attacked in four days

A police constable said to be on suspension was last evening shot dead in Negril, Westmoreland.

The police have not released the details on the killing.

However, the High Command said the police are on high alert following the murder.

This the third cop to have been attacked in four days. 

On Saturday night, one was shot and injured in Bickersteth, St James.

This happened a day after another cop was shot and injured along Washington Boulevard in St Andrew after he tried to stop gunmen who were attempting to rob a pump attendant at a gas station.
