Holness could be best PM ever – Vaz

After pushing for the resignation of Andrew Holness as leader of the Jamaica Labour Party, West Portland Member of Parliament Daryl Vaz, says he is now convinced Holness could go down in history as Jamaica’s best Prime Minister.

Vaz was speaking at a divisional meeting in Buff Bay, Portland, last night, ahead of the November 28 Local Government Elections.

Vaz stated that it was public knowledge that he supported Audley Shaw in the leadership tussle in the JLP.

He noted that in the same way he made his reservations about Holness’ leadership of the party public, now that he’s had a change of heart, he thought it was necessary to also say so.

Vaz argued that Holness has shown he has the vision to take Jamaica on a path of stability.

He said Holness is already putting his plans into action.
