Taximan pleads guilty to biting woman in her face, says she squeezed his genitals
A St Catherine taxi operator triggered laughter in the St Catherine Parish Court when he explained that he bit a woman in her face, because she squeezed his genitals while the two were engaged in an argument.
The taximan, Kevaun Frankson is from Linstead in the parish.
He has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and pleaded guilty with explanation when he appeared in court today.
The court accepted the plea and his bail was extended until January 25 next year when he is to be sentenced.
The court has ordered a Social Enquiry Report into the matter.
Frankson explained that the woman he bit was his best friend but added that he had to bite her to be released from her grip.
The two reportedly had an argument and a physical confrontation on Yorke Street in St Catherine on October 26.
During the confrontation Frankson is said to have bitten the enraged complainant on her face which caused bruises and swellings.
The matter was reported to the Linstead police station and Franskon was charged with assault.
