#LocalGovtElection Never switching!

Blindness was not a deterrent for 87-year-old Sylvester Simms who was lifted from a vehicle in August Town, St Andrew to vote in the local government elections.

He boldly expressed support for the People's National Party (PNP), indicating that he would never switch.

"Mi ah shub mi hand inna ink from 1949. Mi mek my first vote in August Town and from dat mi nuh change yet," he said.

"Bell (the symbol of the Jamaica Labour Party) only mek noise; the head carry di brain so mi nah switch," he said.
