CIBC hosts movie night

Students from six local institutions were guests of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank at a screening of the movie Queen of Katwe at the Palace Cineplex, Sovereign Centre recently.

Jerome Griffith, human resource manager of the bank said that the movie was chosen because of its positive message of triumph over adversity which would "resonate with the students and inspire them to be their best selves."

The students were from Allman Hill Primary and Junior High, Lawrence Tavern Primary, Mannings Hill Primary, Jamaica National Children's Home, Best Care School and the Elsie Bemand Home for Girls.
