District constable held with stolen car, charged

District constable held with stolen car, charged Twenty-five-year-old district constable Alston Gordon of Kellits, Clarendon, has been charged after being held with a stolen motorcar.

Gordon, who is assigned to the Frankfield Police Station in the parish, is charged with receiving stolen property, fraudulent use of licence plate, forgery and unlawful wounding.

The Frankfield Police say on Tuesday, Gordon was found with a 2000 Honda Civic motorcar that was reported stolen to the Hunts Bay Police on Friday, November 4.

He was subsequently arrested and charged.
