A St Elizabeth man is to appear in court on January 3 next year after he allegedly left the island on a fake Bahamian passport.

The police say 26-year-old Tim Joseph, otherwise called Marvin ‘Curtis’, a farmer of Waterloo district in St Elizabeth has been charged with uttering forged documents.

The Norman Manley Airport Police say Joseph boarded a flight destined for London, England under the name ‘Marvin Curtis’.

On arrival at the Gatwick International Airport, he was being processed when immigration officers detected that his passport was forged and so he was denied entry and returned to Jamaica.
