The National Water Commission (NWC) says it’s hoping to restore water to customers served by the Two Meeting facility in Manchester by Monday.

The NWC says the disruption in their water supply is due to mechanical challenges.

Meanwhile, the NWC says it had anticipated that normal operations would resume yesterday, but further challenges made this deadline unattainable.

Areas affected include: Baileston, Two Meeting, Spauldings, Tweedside, Peckham, Waterworks, Nine Mile, Santa Hill, Booth Town, Malcolm Town, Bullocks, Cow Pen Alston, Laughton Town, Junction, Mt Mariah Limit, Frank Field, Walderton, Mount Olivet and Mizpah.

The NWC says it regrets any inconvenience caused and craves the patience and understanding of its customers.
