19-year-old St Thomas woman found dead at home, hunt on for boyfriend

St Thomas has become the latest parish to record another domestic dispute that turned deadly.
Nineteen-year-old Tashoy Barrett was found dead with her throat slashed this afternoon in Arcadia in the parish.
A search by the police is now on for her boyfriend who investigators believe is the attacker.
A resident, Ranae Johnson, told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that Barrett’s lifeless body was found about 12:30 this afternoon lying in a pool of blood inside the house she shared with her boyfriend.
Residents then raised an alarm and called the police.
