Water lock-off for some Corporate Area communities tonight

Published:Friday | December 30, 2016 | 12:35 AM

The National Water Commission (NWC) says it will be suspending water supply to sections of the Corporate Area from 8:30 this evening until 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.

It says it’s trying to carry out necessary repairs to an 18-inch transmission main on the Ferry/Molynes Road Booster pipe network.

Areas to be affected include Dunrobin Avenue, Washington Boulevard, Molynes Road, Spanish Town Road, Duhaney Park and Patrick City and all roads leading off.

Customers are being asked to store water for use during the period of disruption.

The NWC says every effort will be made to have water restored within the time stipulated.
