St Thomas man accused of killing girlfriend surrenders to police
The man who is accused of killing his girlfriend on Boxing Day in St Thomas has turned himself in to the police.
Odaine Keyes has been wanted for questioning in relation to the killing of 19-year-old Tashoy Barrett, who was found with her throat slashed on Boxing Day at the home that the two shared.
Keyes could not been found since the incident.
The Gleaner-Power 106 News Centre understands that he turned himself in about 9:30 this morning to the St Thomas Police. He was accompanied by relatives.
About 11 women were killed in domestic disputes in December alone. In total, about 25 women were killed in 2016, compared to 15 in 2015.
