The police are yet to make a breakthrough into the Sunday morning murder of a Calabar High School student.

Seventeen-year-old Stephan McLaren was stabbed to death on Hagley Park Road in St Andrew shortly after leaving an entertainment establishment.

His assailants are not known.

It’s reported that McLaren was walking with a group of friends but had stopped along the roadway to urinate.

One of his friends who was with him, said soon after, McLaren rushed to them complaining that he had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital where he died.

This morning, his mother Evelyn Burton appealed for help to find the killers.

McLaren was a member of the Calabar cricket team.
