The police are reporting that 32-year-old escapee Jason Beadle, otherwise called ‘Goat’ of Path district in St Elizabeth has been recaptured in Spring Head district, St Mary.

The police say Beadle who has been on the run since last year after escaping from the Santa Cruz lock-up on June 23, 2016 was held today.

The police say Beadle, who was charged with murder, was recaptured during intensified operations being conducted in search of Dwight Henry, the accused killer of the two US missionaries murdered in St Mary.

Henry, has been on the run since Wednesday after escaping from police custody while at a hospital.

Meanwhile, the police are urging the public to be on the lookout for any strangers in their community, and to call them if they suspect Henry may be seeking refuge in the area.

The police are reminding that it is an offence to harbour a fugitive, and that any offender will face the full extent of the law should they be caught assisting Henry or any other escapee.
