Police personnel searching for the St Mary man charged with killing two American missionaries have arrested a second man wanted for murder.

The Gleaner/Power106 News Centre understands that the man, who's name is being withheld, was captured in St Mary last evening during the manhunt for Dwight Henry.

Police investigators say he is wanted by the St Catherine South Police for the stabbing death of Damian Ewan at the Old Harbour Transportation Centre in February 2015.

Investigators say he will be turned over to the St Catherine South Police today and formally charged.

Henry escaped from the Port Maria Hospital this week and remains on the run.
