The chairman of the Hampton School Board Trevor Blake has taken to Facebook begging Hamptonians to forgive Murray for what he called a moment of indiscretion.

According to Blake, they should also avoid denigrating the social media platform and the image of the school with some of the crass comments that he has seen.

Blake also wrote that after 13 excellent years of superior leadership Hampton's board will not "throw Heather Marks Murray to the wind for a moment of indiscretion".

However, last week, Blake had made it clear though that the actions of the principal would not be condoned and that Murray would soon be summoned to a meeting of the executive committee of the Hampton Board.
