The Union of Clerical Administrative and Supervisory Employees (UCASE) has won the right to represent more than 200 employees of the National Housing Trust (NHT).

In a rights poll among 265 eligible NHT employees, 212 voted for UCASE to represent them.

UCASE says 50 workers did not vote and four others voted for the Union of Private and Public Employees to continue representing them.

NHT workers invited the new union to help engage the management of the trust to improve their salary and fringe benefits package.
