Head of the St Ann Police, Superintendent Gary Francis, says the police are making arrangements to hold an identification parade in relation to the murder of Justice of the Peace and businessman, Colin Corrodus.

Superintendent Francis says the man who was held in connection with the killing remains in custody and the police continue to investigate the matter.

Corrodus was shot dead, on January 2, in a robbery attempt while at home in St Ann.

The police had reported that the businessman was among a group playing dominoes when four gunmen came up and demanded his licenced firearm.

Corrodus was shot dead in a reported struggle.

The gunmen then reportedly went inside the house and attempted to conduct a robbery during which the businessman’s wife was gun-butted.

They then escaped.
