UPDATE: Fire reignites at Carib Cement, offices destroyed

Several administrative offices have been destroyed in a fire that reportedly reignited at the Caribbean Cement Company Limited in Rockfort, St Andrew last night.

Three units from the Jamaica Fire Brigade are at the plant at this hour.

Yesterday evening, firefighters had rushed to extinguish a blaze and reported that there was little damage.

In a statement, Carib Cement also said there were no injuries.

But last night, the fire brigade had to be called in again after another blaze broke out.

It is not clear how this will impact production.
