Several NWC facilities out of operation, more than 50 communities being affected

National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that several of its facilities are now out of operation because of electrical problems.

The NWC says the Moneague plant in St Ann, the Montpellier facility in St Thomas and the Wakefield, Guys Hill and White River facilities in St Catherine are being impacted.

In the Corporate Area, the Forest Hills and Havendale facilities are out of operation and so too are Derry-Hazard plant in St Mary and the Turtle Crawle facility in Portland.

More than 50 communities across the seven parishes are being affected by the water disruption.

The NWC says it working to have water restored in the shortest possible time.
