Two former gas station clerks who are charged with fraud were each granted $400,000 bail when they appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court yesterday.

Lacey Tuff of Bushy Park, Clarendon, and Melissa Sang of Old Harbour Bay, St Catherine, were ordered to return to court on February 28.

It is being alleged that both women, who were employed to the service station, conspired and stole money from their employer between July and November last year.

The employer conducted a surprise check at the service station and the accused could not account for missing money.

The police were called in and following an investigation the women were arrested and charged with fraud.
