Trafalgar Travel offers hassle-free World Championships packages
If you want to be in the stadium in London come August when Usain Bolt makes his final sprint, Trafalgar Travel can take you there seamlessly.
Through its sports travel unit, Trafalgar Travel is offering sports fans hassle-free travel arrangements to and from London for the World Championships, from August 4-13.
Packages will comprise five, six or 11-day packages depending on each person's budget and time available. The cost of packages ranges from US$3,590 to US$8,500.
Fans will have options for event tickets and seating, including premium tickets near the finish line in the London Queen Elizabeth Stadium. This venue is where Jamaica's men's 200-metre Olympic team created history by winning gold, silver and bronze medals in 2012.
According to Olive McNaughton, Trafalgar Travel's head of sports travel, the packages are designed for persons who want to explore London, maximise their time in the historic city, as well as attend all or most of the 14 sessions at the World Championships.
"All packages include return airfare, event tickets, accommodation, transfers from airport to hotel, an Oyster card and 'Hop On Hop Off' giving you the opportunity to view London's historic sights, support our athletes, shop and promote Brand Jamaica," McNaughton said.
SIX-DAY SPRINT PACKAGE
The six-day sprint package will give you the option of seeing either the first or last five days of the games with one day reserved for travel. You may also choose to head directly to the stadium upon arrival in London. This package comprises seven tickets along with the other benefits including a Jamaica-branded shirt to highlight the nation's colours in the stands.
The Sprint 9.58 Package includes a five-day stay, seven event tickets and all other benefits listed above. All travellers may also enjoy the amenities of the stadium's hospitality area. These ticket holders will be able to access lounges depending on their taste preference from cocktails to champagne dining in special areas.
