Men who attempted to accost teens in Kendal, Manchester not yet charged
Three men who were arrested for reportedly attempting to accost a group of teenagers in Kendal, Manchester on Friday are yet to be charged by the police.
The police say about 4:50 p.m. on Friday, the men were travelling in a Toyota Corolla motor car when they attempted to confront the group of teenagers. An alarm was raised and the Christiana police responded.
The cops intercepted the vehicle and the men jumped out, attempting to escape on foot. They were held and searched and a Glock pistol and magazine containing 17 nine-millimetre rounds were found.
The men were taken into custody. The police say they are expected to be charged.
The teenagers escaped unhurt.
The police are reminding the public to be on the alert while on the road and to travel in groups, where possible. They say citizens should also report any suspicious people or activities to the police.
