Charges laid against three men who accosted Manchester teens

Three men, that were arrested after they reportedly accosted a group of teenagers on the Kendal main road in Manchester last Friday have been charged.

The police say the men were charged with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition as well as Assault at Common Law.

Charged are 37-year-old Sean Williams, 22-year-old Oshane Mullings and 27-year-old Sean Campbell, all of Clarkes Town Road in Manchester.

Police reports are that about 4:50 p.m., three men aboard a Toyota Corolla accosted a group of teenagers and an alarm was raised.

Officers in the area responded to the alarm and intercepted the vehicle as the men attempted to escape.

The men and the motor car were searched and a Glock pistol with a magazine containing 17 9mm rounds was seized.
