Arscott calls for gov't to address water problems affecting central parishes
Opposition Spokesperson on Local Government Noel Arscott is calling for the Government to address the water woes affecting several communities in St Catherine, Clarendon, and Manchester.
Arscott says the communities have been experiencing drought conditions for some time without any intervention from the authorities.
Noting that many of these communities depend on farming, he says urgent steps must be taken to alleviate the undue suffering that residents are now facing.
Arscott says funding must be made available immediately to address the problem.
