The Manchester police have detained a person of interest and are on the hunt for the main suspect in connection with Sunday night's double murder in Grey Ground.
Thirty-three-year-old Kemar Reid, and 27-year-old Solanda Thompson were shot dead in what the police believe may have been a reprisal attack.
The person of interest has been identified as Rohan Smiley, also known as 'Boomhead'.
According to the police, he is the leader of the Grey Ground district gang.
Late Wednesday, residents of Grey Ground blocked the roadways to protest Smiley's arrest.
Meanwhile, the police are appealing to Kaschief Griffiths, of Comfort district, to turn himself in.
