FLOW says Thursday’s disruption was an unusual occurrence
The telecommunications company FLOW has described Thursday’s disruption in mobile and other services to its residential and business customers as an unusual occurrence.
FLOW says an investigation has already been launched to determine the cause of the disruption, which lasted several hours.
The company, however, notes that mobile services have been fully restored to all customers.
It says services accessed by the star or User Short codes have been fully restored and its retail network is back online.
Director of Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Management at FLOW Jamaica Kayon Wallace says the investigation is being treated as a priority and adds that the company’s network partners will be part of the process.
Wallace also gave the assurance that FLOW is working with its technical partners to prevent any further disruption in service.
