The president of the Jamaica Agricultural Society Senator Norman Grant says he is encouraged by the performance of the Andrew Holness administration in the industry.

However, Senator Grant would not assign a grade.

According to him, the Jamaica Labour Party Administration is seemingly attempting to fulfil its agenda to make agriculture a critical element of its growth agenda.

However, Senator Grant says he is dissatisfied with the efforts to rehabilitate farm roads, and expand irrigation.
