Special needs children assessment centre gets $86 million improvement

The Government has spent J$86 million to improve the facilities at the special needs children assessment centre in downtown Kingston.

Located at 95 Hanover Street, the Early Stimulation Programme (ESP) Assessment Centre now has a multipurpose complex and provides more services to children.

The facility operates under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and caters to the developmental needs of children with disabilities up to six years old. It currently serves a population of more than 1,500 across the island with early stimulation and interventions.
