Man shot dead in daring attack outside Mandeville town centre

One man was shot dead and another injured on Hanbury Road, outside the Mandeville town centre in Manchester this morning.

The police say the dead man identified as Jeremy Roman was driving in the vicinity of Hanbury and Caledonia roads, when a gunman opened fire hitting him.

The vehicle then collided into a wall injuring another man and his mother.

According to the police, the injured man was recently taken into custody as a suspect in a double murder in Comfort district.

The gunman is believed to have fled in a waiting motor car.
