Man charged with Burger King employee's murder granted bail

The man charged in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Burger King employee, Nile Brown, has been granted $550,000 bail.

Twenty-three-year-old Shamar Omeally, of Ten Miles, Bull Bay,  St Andrew, was granted bail when he appeared before the St Thomas Parish Court on Friday.

He is to have one to two sureties and is to return to court on May 12.

Brown, who was from Race Course Lane in Denham Town in Kingston, was reported missing in February.

Her body was later found in a plastic barrel in Ramble district, St Thomas.
