Police rule out foul play in Portland man's death
The Portland police have ruled out foul play in relation to the death of a man, whose decomposing body was found at his home on Saturday afternoon.
The body of 44-year old Anthony Osbourne of Norwich District in Port Antonio was found in a room at his house shortly after 5 o’clock.
Police sources say residents alerted them about a foul odour coming from the house occupied by Osbourne, who lived alone.
When the police arrived the man's body was found in bed, under a sheet, in an advanced state of decomposition.
The body was removed to the morgue.
Osbourne was last seen by residents on Wednesday, March 15, walking in the vicinity of the Jamaica Railway Corporation property in Norwich.
