The co-owner of Moncrieffe’s Patio Shop Vassell Moncrieffe is now battling for life in hospital while his wife has been killed and two of their teen workers injured in a bizarre attack at their workplace this afternoon.

The attack which occurred shortly after 12 o’clock was allegedly carried out by a 30-odd-year-old male employee, who was not scheduled to work today at the Old Hope Road outfit.

The attacker escaped.

The slain woman, Barbara Moncrieffe, died on the spot.

The workers, one 19 and the other 18, are cousins.

They reportedly received multiple stab wounds to their torsos.

The mother of one of the teens said her daughter was seriously injured and was set to undergo emergency surgery.

She further said her daughter named her attacker as she arrived at the Kingston Public Hospital.

Up to a short while ago, the police were still at Moncrieffe’s Patio Shop, processing the scene.
