Scotiabank Negril partnered with Travellers Beach Resort and the Negril Education Environment Trust on the 'Buy a brick build a Library' initiative that encourages sponsors to buy blocks for schools, this time for the building of the Cove Primary School library. On a culture day, organised for the purchase of bricks, Scotiabank and other sponsors were on hand to be part of the event. Sponsors were entertained by children of the various schools that have already benefited from the trust, and were invited to paint a message or their company's name on the bricks they had purchased.
